Our client is looking for an experienced React Frontend Developer to join their team.

This is a hybrid role in Cluj-Napoca (CIM or b2b)

Mission

The clients new customer portal has been developed to meet the emerging needs of customers and to respond to the dynamic movement in the logistics market.

The primary focus is on offering greater visibility to their customers by allowing them to monitor their orders throughout the entire lifecycle, track and trace shipments, request documents, and much more.

Due to the strong growth in recent years, there has been increased diversity in the number of internal back-end applications.

The customer portal consolidates orders from various ERPs and links partners from different countries. This is to provide a more cohesive view to international clients and large enterprises.

This is the first phase, and we are just at the beginning; there is much more functionality desired to use this tool in MPL's "customer success" ambition.

Responsibilities

As a React Frontend Developer you will work closely with various stakeholders such as the digital transformation team (architect, program manager, infrastructure, etc.) and personnel from the business domains. Analyze the needs of both customers and internal employees in interactive workshops, user interviews, etc. You will sink your teeth into projects with an impact on business, related to "customer success". You will collaborate with the Program Manager and the Product Owner to ensure quality during the development process. You will be part of the time which is responsible for building a new Customer Portal.

Skills / Requirements

Minimum of 3 years experience with web technologies (Typescript, HTML and CSS);
Proven track record and very good React knowledge;
Experience with development and support of data driven web apps;
Experience with integration of apps with back end systems;
Proven track record and knowledge on tools like Tailwind, Turborepo, Vite and Jest;
Ability to create enhanced experiences in different browsers;
Command-line is your best friend;
You are up to date on (and actively using) ECMAScript;
Experience with complex state management is a plus.
